House in Narutaki in Kyoto is featured in the current issue of the Japanese interior magazine I’m home. (No. 143, September 2026).
The project site, located a short distance from central Kyoto, is in a quiet setting rich in nature, history, and cultural heritage, situated on a sloping site alongside the foothills.
While harmonizing the architecture with its natural surroundings, we sought to carry the appeal of traditional sukiya architecture into contemporary life.
